With over 34 years of experience and insight into border security, risk assessment, customs modernization, and the design and development of automated targeting systems, Chris was responsible for market development and acted as lead Subject Matter Expert for Customs and Trade, with GreenLine Systems, A-T Solutions, and PAE.
Chris previously held leadership roles in Enforcement, Operations and Major Projects with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) where he was awarded a GTEC (Government of Canada Technology Award) gold medal and the Canadian Public Service Award of Excellence for his work leading the design and development teams responsible for the TITAN automated risk assessment system.
Chris is a co-author of the WCO Customs Risk Management Study, the IDB Knowledge and Capacity Product on Risk Management of Cargo and Passengers, and the WCO’s "Global High Risk Indicator Document" that served as foundational inputs for the "WCO Framework of Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global Trade", and the WCO Risk Management Compendium.
In 2016, Chris founded the start-up "TTEK" -specializing in solutions for optimizing customs and border processing using Artificial Intelligence; growing the firm to a valuation of over 30M USD in only 7 years without external investment. AD Ports Group acquired TTEK in May 2023. Chris continues to serve as an executive advisor to AD Ports.
