Tyrone Harris ORNLTransportation Security & Operations Specialist

Tyrone joined the Transportation Security Engineering & Analysis Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2022. Prior to that he supported Office of Radiological Security and Office of Nuclear Smuggling Detection and Deterrence projects as an ORNL subcontractor from 2015 to 2018 and 2020 to 2022. Tyrone served as an Associate Nuclear Security Officer at the IAEA leading science and technology projects focused on detecting and recovering material outside of regulatory control from 2018 to 2020. Tyrone received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Nuclear Engineering from The University of Tennessee.
