Barbara Soto SilentBorder - SGSBusiness Development Director

Major in International Business at Alejandro de Humboldt University in 2004 (Caracas, Venezuela). Certified in Management Excellence (CME), 2019 and the program Competing in the age of Ai, 2021 both at Harvard Business School. Barbara counts with 21 years of experience in the development of solutions to support Governments in the  import/export inspection activities, risk management, and customs scanning operations.  Shortly after joining SGS in 2013, she has been leading the development of SGS D-TECT. She also coordinates the scanner operations at the group level, including managing technical relationships with some of the most relevant equipment manufacturers in the market. Barbara has been in the role of Scanner and D-TECT Team Business Development Director since 2020.
