With over 30 years of experience in the tourism sector, Marco Ferraz began his journey in this field through Monark Turismo. He was the president of BRAZTOA (Brazilian Association of Tour Operators) from 2011 to 2014, and of CLIA Brazil (Brazilian Association of Maritime Cruises), the national branch of the Cruise Lines International Association—the largest cruise industry organization in the world—from 2014 to 2024, the year in which he also assumed the presidency of CLIA South America. A graduate in Commercial Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, he holds positions on the advisory boards of the Ministry of Tourism and the National Confederation of Commerce.
