Tim Stekkinger World Economic ForumHead, TradeTech Initiative

Tim leads the TradeTech Global Initiative, a partnership between the World Economic Forum and the UAE Government, focused on leveraging emerging technologies, innovations, and public-private collaboration to create a more efficient, sustainable, and equitable global trading ecosystem. Before joining the Forum, Tim held leadership positions at logistics giant DSV, including roles in DSV Financial Services and the DSV Innovation Hub. His career also includes serving as VP at Panalpina, a Swiss freight forwarder. Additionally, Tim co-founded and managed a Canadian agri-tech startup after a decade of experience with Dutch banks DLL-Rabobank and ABN-AMRO. He holds a Master of Science in International Business Administration from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University.
