Gustavo Coutinho RFBCustoms Risk Management Coordinator

Gustavo Coutinho graduated Magna Cum Laude in Computer and Information Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and holds a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Big Data from PUC-Minas. He joined the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service (RFB) in 2010 as a Tax and Customs Auditor, specializing in customs risk management and systems development. Gustavo has been recognized twice with the RFB Creativity and Innovation Award, in 2012 and 2018. He led the risk management team at a local unit on the southern border of Brazil and, since 2020, has served as the Special Coordinator of Customs Risk Management. Additionally, he is an External Consultant for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and a Specialist in Customs Risk Management accredited by the World Customs Organization (WCO).
