Ms. Cynthia Lilian Barrales Rodríguez is a Mexican customs officer specialized in digital transformation and IT management. She holds a Master's degree in Project Management from the Universidad del Valle de México (UVM). As current General Director of Information Technologies at the National Customs Agency of Mexico (ANAM), she has contributed to an improvement in operational efficiency through the implementation of a comprehensive communications architecture and a technology governance framework. Her background includes key positions like ANAM’s Central Director of Information Technology Processes, where she developed and implemented technology policies, norms and standards aligned with the strategic objectives of Mexican Customs; as well as directing the issuance of regulations and operational guidelines for development.
