Ricardo Keiper de Carvalho e Silva GE AerospaceSupply Chain Leader

Born in Rio Grande do Sul, attended the Catholic University of Petropolis in the State of Rio de Janeiro, where he graduated as Mechanical Engineer in 1984. He started his career at GE Celma in 1985 as Aircraft Engines Performance Engineer and from 1987 to 1996 held leadership positions in Engineering, Operations and Customer Support. In 1997 he obtained his certification and developed several projects as Black Belt in the Six Sigma Program and from 1999 to 2006 he was the Materials Manager for Rio de Janeiro State operations. In 2005 he had his M.B.A. graduation from Getulio Vargas Foundation in Rio de Janeiro and since 2007 holds the position of Supply Chain Leader for GE Aerospace in Brasil. He is also currently Vice President of the following associations: Brazilian Foreign Trade Association – AEB, Brazilian Aerospace Industries Association – AIAB and International Trade Council of the Rio de Janeiro Industries Association - FIRJAN.
