Hongye Wu China CustomsDeputy Director

Hongye Wu is the Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of the Guangdong Sub-Administration of China Customs. He is the first batch of science and technology assessment experts and also a part-time teacher of China Customs. Since 1999, as a main personnel, he has participated in multiple important IT construction projects, including H2000, H2010, GoldenCustoms project. He has been commended many times for his outstanding work. He has been working on the construction of SMART CUSTOMS since its beginning in 2022. Meanwhile, he participated in the departmental project "How to further give play to the leading and supporting role of Customs science and technology", and the research results were affirmed by several China Customs leaders, including the Minister Mr. Yu Jianhua. In 2023, as a core member, he participated in the overall technical architecture design of SMART CUSTOMS. Since 2024, as a technical expert, he is responsible for undertaking the technical promotion and implementation of SMART CUSTOMS.
