Juan Diego Chavarria WCOTechnical Officer

Mr. Juan Diego Chavarría is a Technical Officer in the Compliance and Facilitation Directorate of the World Customs Organization (WCO). He is mainly involved in Data and Technology topics such as Single Window, WCO Data Model, Coordinated Border Management and Time Release Studies. Prior joining the WCO, he worked for 7 year for both Costa Rica´s Single Window (VUCE), and the Foreign Trade Promotion Agency of Costa Rica (PROCOMER) in charge of the creation and reengineering of processes and LPCOs carried out through the Single Window, overseeing the agriculture, phytosanitary, flora and fauna processes and the interoperability of them with Central, South and North America and Europe.
