Previously, he served a distinguished career with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), holding key roles such as Chief of Staff to the Deputy Commissioner, Director of Targeting Programs at the National Targeting Center, Chief of Staff for the Office of Field Operations, Counselor in the Office of the Commissioner, Program Manager in the Secure Freight Initiative, and Liaison in the Office of Congressional Affairs. In these roles, he led efforts to enhance U.S. security, coordinated immigration reform initiatives, and facilitated emergency responses, including terrorism threats and natural disasters. His leadership extended to fostering global trade security partnerships and contributing to the White House’s Global Supply Chain Security Strategy. He holds a JD from Seton Hall University Law School and a BA from American University.
