Samantha Mendes Intereventjournalist

A journalist and advertiser, she graduated from PUC-Rio in 1997. Her career began at TV Globo after a one-year internship there, following a stint at IBOPE in 1995. After two years at Globo News, she left Brazil to work as a reporter and news anchor at Bloomberg Television in New York, a channel focused on economics. Two years later, she moved to Miami, where she joined HBO Latin America as a Content and Promotions Producer. In 2002, she returned to Brazil and rejoined TV Globo, where she worked as a reporter for Fantástico and as news anchor at GloboNews until 2009. The following year, after leaving the company, she launched Fértil, Brazil's first lifestyle magazine dedicated to fertility. In 2012, she returned to TV Globo, this time at SporTV, where she helped create and launch the EU ATLETA project, designed to promote amateur and recreational sports. During this period, she also hosted SporTV News Manhã, the channel's morning news show. She remained at SporTV until 2015. She now presents corporate events and serves as a moderator at conferences.
