Winfred Musili Kenya Revenue Authority

Winfred is a seasoned Customs  officer with over 15 years’ experience in Customs and Border Control department at the Kenya Revenue Authority. She is a  Supervisor and is  currently serving at the Business Transformation Office (BTO) located at the Nairobi Headquarters, as a Business Analyst for the  Integrated Customs Management System and the  Project Team Lead for the Trade Logistics Information Pipeline. She has amassed extensive experience and training in most functions of customs and border control, as her career has seen her work at various release points including the Kenya-Uganda land border, Mombasa Port, Container Freight Stations, Airport Sheds and the Export Processing Zone. In her current capacity, Winfred excels in analysis and represents business interests in the automation of the Customs declaration  and  Release processes, Tariff and Certificate of Origin Modules as well as  implementation of electronic customs data sharing through the Trade Logistics Information Pipeline. She also trains stakeholders on the use and navigation of the local customs systems.   Academically, Winfred holds a degree in Biotechnology, Certificate in Customs Administration, Data analytics, Forensic document identification, Customer Care and Project Management. She has also earned multiple WCO certificates after completion of the CliCK Programmes, including the Coordinated Border Management, Integrity, Rules of Origin, Post Clearance Audit, Data Analytics, Risk Management, the WCO SAFE Framework of Standards and the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement
