Shaleen White S2 Global

With almost 20 years of public sector experience working for the U.S. Department of State, Shaleen has focused the last 10 years specifically on Latin America, administering a foreign assistance program that seeks to improve capacity and share best practices with customs agencies and border security organizations in Panama, Costa Rica, Belize, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. Shaleen also worked for the government of Panama, serving as the Executive Assistant to President Mireya Moscoso from 1999 to 2004. Prior to her work in government, Shaleen worked for many years in the logistic sector, where she held various positions in a family-owned freight forwarding business. This experience gave her a solid understanding of the maritime industry and first-hand knowledge of customs processes and procedures both in the United States and throughout Latin America. Shaleen holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Barry University in Miami, FL and a master’s in business administration (MBA) from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She has also completed non-degree programs in translation and interpretation, project management, and trade compliance. She speaks both English and Spanish fluently.
