Martin Palmer Hurricane Modular Commerce Ltd

Martin has over 40 years of experience in the distribution and logistics industry, where he has held various senior positions, including serving as the Global Export Controls and Customs Director for TNT Express. He is a co-founder and board member of Hurricane Modular Commerce Ltd, a company that provides classification and compliance software for the companies involved with international trade. Martin also founded Supply Chain Compliance Ltd, which focuses on helping businesses integrate international trade compliance into their daily operations. In addition to his corporate roles, Martin has worked closely with several NGOs and agencies, using his expertise in transportation to tackle issues such as illicit trade, counter-proliferation, and wildlife trafficking within the supply chain. Throughout his career, he has been heavily involved in international trade, with a particular focus on compliance in areas such as customs clearance, export control, intellectual property rights, anti-corruption, and customs-secured supply chain programs. Martin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a member of the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade.
